The CORA Wound Care Program is a comprehensive healing and management program based in a cost effective outpatient rehabilitation setting. The multi-disciplinary team consists of the family, patient, physician and physical therapist.
When indicated, additional team members may include a surgeon, occupational therapist and endostomal therapist (ET nurse.) The program follows pre-defined pathways that may result in consistent, more predictable outcomes.
The CORA Wound Care Program is appropriate for:
- Acute wounds, such as burns, lacerations, and abrasions.
- Chronic wounds, such as pressure ulcers, vascular ulcers, and neuropathic (diabetic) ulcers.
- Surgical wounds that have become infected or not healing properly.
